Blind Channel Set to Unleash Mature New Album 'Painstream'

Finnish modern metal outfit BLIND CHANNEL are set to break their eighteen-month silence with the release of their sixth studio album, "Painstream". Dropping on 30 October via Century Media Records, the record marks a significant new chapter for the Oulu-based quintet, serving as their first major output since the departure of vocalist Joel Hokka in April 2025.

The twelve-track collection is described by the band as their most mature and ambitious work to date. Moving beyond mere sonic aggression, "Painstream" aims to explore themes of growth, self-reflection, and the universal experience of pain in a divided world. The tracklist includes guest appearance from Aaron Pauley of OF MICE & MEN on "Into The Void".

Rather than separating us, 'Painstream' explores the idea that pain can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity.

To build momentum for the release, BLIND CHANNEL has already premiered a short film featuring the first two musical pieces, "Diana" and "No Encores In A Swan Song". Two further singles are scheduled for release on 3 September and 1 October respectively.

Following the album's launch, the band will hit the road with a debut show at Helsinki Ice Hall on 14 November, supported by two dates in Japan. A full European headlining tour is also slated for early 2027, with tickets for the trek going on sale on 3 September.
