Bruce Dickinson Set to Drop New Solo Single Within Two Weeks
The Iron Maiden frontman confirms a new single and provocative music video are imminent as he prepares for his 2027 solo release.
Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has confirmed that the debut single from his upcoming solo album will be released within the next fortnight. Speaking to Chile's Radio Futuro, the vocalist teased a forthcoming music video that he suggests might even give the Catholic Church a reason to take notice. The visual, which focuses on the theme of "telling the truth," is set to accompany the new track.
Dickinson's next studio effort, slated for release in early 2027 via BMG, follows 2024's "The Mandrake Project." The recording process took place at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in California, where the band spent three weeks producing 18 tracks. The singer was firm on his stance regarding modern technology, stating that while AI is unavoidable, it lacks the soul of human creativity. He confirmed the new record contains no samples, ensuring a purely organic production.
A.I. is just stealing your creativity and chucking it back at you with no soul.
The upcoming album features a diverse range of collaborators, including a track with his son, Austin, and percussion from Sepultura's Andreas Kisser. The production team included producer Brendan Duffey, who also worked on the 2025 reissue of "More Balls To Picasso." Following the release, Dickinson is scheduled to tour across Europe in 2026 under the moniker "PsychoGod," marking his first solo live appearances since the conclusion of his extensive "Mandrake Project" world tour.
