Bruce Dickinson Announces 2027 'PsychoGod' European Tour

Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson has confirmed a sprawling 2027 European tour, enigmatically titled "PsychoGod". The tour will see the singer and his touring band hit the road across the summer and autumn, marking his first solo outing since wrapping "The Mandrake Project" tour in late 2025.

While the 2026 calendar will see Dickinson largely occupied with Iron Maiden duties, he has already been busy in the studio. The upcoming shows will showcase a mix of fan favourites and fresh material recorded with his dedicated backing band, featuring Chris Declercq, Philip Näslund, Tanya O'Callaghan, Mistheria, and Dave Moreno. Dickinson defended the necessity of his live unit against the rise of artificial intelligence, stating, "What we do is real and that's so important right now. A real drummer, a real bass player, real guitarists, real keyboards — A.I. can only copy, it can only pretend. It can never be in love, and it can never play. This band? They can really play!"

A.I. can only copy, it can only pretend. It can never be in love, and it can never play.

The tour kicks off in mid-June with dates across the UK, Ireland, and continental Europe, including appearances at major festivals such as Rockharz and Masters Of Rock. The winter leg, running from November through December, will see the singer performing in markets including Poland, Scandinavia, and France, with Swedish prog-metal outfit Evergrey providing support during the November and December stretch.

New material for the tour was tracked at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in California with producer Brendan Duffey. Duffey is a familiar face for fans of the frontman, having previously handled the production of the reworked "More Balls To Picasso" in 2025.
