Repentance Drop 'Among The Wolves' Ahead of Upcoming Album Retaliate

Chicago-based groove metal heavyweights REPENTANCE have deployed "Among The Wolves", the third single from their forthcoming studio effort, "Retaliate". The album is set to land on 27 November 2026 via Noble Demon, marking a significant and somber milestone in the band's history.

Vocallist Adam Gilley has highlighted the raw emotion behind the new track, stating: "One of my favorites off the album! This song expresses intense feelings of betrayal, anger, and disillusionment toward someone who has caused deep emotional pain."

The release carries a heavy weight, as the band has been navigating a devastating period following the sudden passing of founding member and primary force Shaun Glass on 1 July 2026. Glass was a pillar of the Chicago metal scene for over four decades, leaving behind a legacy with notable acts including TERMINAL DEATH, SINDROME, and BROKEN HOPE. In his memory, the band pushed the release of "Retaliate" from its original summer date to late November.

Produced by Alex Lackner and mixed by Ari Mihalopoulos, "Retaliate" now serves as a final musical tribute to their fallen brother. This follows the September release of "Fade Into Silence", a track penned by Glass himself. Gilley noted that while the loss has left a "major hole" in the band's heart, the record serves as a permanent testament to Glass's creativity and passion.
