Frontman Gary "Angry" Anderson has confirmed that ROSE TATTOO are preparing to record a new studio album, with an anticipated release window of late 2026 or early 2027. Speaking to Nejc Zupančič of PodRaznoKast, the 79-year-old vocalist revealed they have "so many new songs" at their disposal, which might make the selection process for the final studio statement a challenge.

A specific point of contention for inclusion is the band's recent cover of Stevie Wright's "Hard Road". While its popularity in both Australia and Europe served as an effective promotional tool recently, Anderson admitted that with so much new material available, the track might not make the final cut.
