K.K. Downing Reports Success on North American Tour with W.A.S.P.

K.K. Downing has provided an update from the road as KK'S PRIEST continues its extensive North American tour. Serving as the opening act for W.A.S.P., the band kicked off their run on 10 September in El Cajon, California, and will continue traversing the United States and Canada until a final show in Anaheim on Halloween.

Downing spoke highly of the pairing with W.A.S.P., praising frontman Blackie Lawless for his enduring stage presence. The guitarist noted that the dual-bill is generating massive energy, providing a heavy dose of classic metal for both seasoned fans and a younger generation. During the tour, Downing has been weaving together his own material with various Judas Priest staples, including 'The Sentinel' and 'Turbo Lover', the latter two marking their debut performances with KK'S PRIEST.

The current touring unit features a formidable lineup, including vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, guitarist A.J. Mills, bassist Anthony Wall, and drummer Sean Elg. The band's setlist blends heavy hitters like 'Breaking The Law' with tracks from their own releases, 'Sermons Of The Sinner' and 'The Sinner Rides Again'.
