Erik Grönwall Debuts 'Hell & Back' Music Video From Solo Effort
Former Skid Row frontman Erik Grönwall shares a new visual for his latest solo anthem, showcasing his uncompromisinger artistic identity.
Ex-Skid Row vocalist Erik Grönwall has unleashed a fresh visual component for his solo career with the release of the music video for "Hell & Back". Directed by René U Valdes, the clip serves as a cornerstone for the track taken from his latest album, "Bad Bones", which arrived in May.
After years spent commanding the stage with heavyweights like Skid Row and H.E.A.T, alongside touring as the frontman for Michael Schenker, Grönwall has pivoted toward a deeply personal solo project. "Bad Bones" is comprised entirely of original material, moving away from established group dynamics to focus on his individual narrative. The singer describes the record as his most honest work yet, born out of years of survival and reinvention.
"This album is 100 percent me — the good, the bad, all of it."
Musically, the collection balances the swagger of classic hard rock with modern production. The tracklist moves through high-energy offerings like "Born To Break" and emotional deep-dives such as "Praying For A Miracle". Grönwall insists that "Bad Bones" represents a period of total creative freedom where he no longer feels the need to compromise his sound.
Support for the project has already sparked international interest, earning spins on Planet Rock in the UK along with stations in Sweden and Germany. With sold-out shows at Cirkus in Stockholm and a growing string of European festival dates, Grönwall is solidifying his transition into this new era of solo stardom.
