David Ellefson to perform 'Countdown To Extinction' in full on 2026 European tour

Former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has confirmed that the December 2026 leg of his "Bass Warrior" European tour will feature the complete "Countdown To Extinction" album. Following heavy demand from fans earlier this year, Ellefson plans to close out the year with these performances, which will also introduce the tour to new cities and countries across the continent.

Performing alongside his solo band and musical director Andy Martongelli, Ellefson will blend his deep Megadeth catalogue with solo material and the hard rock and metal staples that have defined his 40-year career. The veteran bassist described the addition of the full album as "the perfect holiday wrap up for the year."
