ASIA Debut Music Video for 'Arcadia' Ahead of New Album 'Indigo'

The venerable progressive rock supergroup ASIA has officially unveiled the music video for "Arcadia", the third single taken from their forthcoming studio album, "Indigo". Scheduled for release on November 6, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl, the record marks a significant milestone for the band as they navigate a new era with a current lineup featuring Geoff Downes, Virgil Donati, John Mitchell, and Harry Whitley.

Geoff Downes revealed that the track "Arcadia" was almost the title of a previous album before it was changed to "Astra". Despite the name change, the concept remained central to the band's identity. "The word and concept has always been around us, and there have been many suggestions over the years to write a song about it," Downes explained, noting that the 2026 release finally brings the vision to life. The song serves as a musical representation of a pastoral retreat from the modern world.

I feel that this is one of our best albums to date. The songs are deep in musicality, with a powerful and original performance.

While the writing for the material began in 2015 alongside the late John Wetton, the project was stalled by Wetton's illness and subsequent passing. Following a successful tribute concert in 2023, Downes found the motivation to re-establish the band and partner with Frontiers again. The production phase concluded last year, with Downes praising the synergy of the current lineup. "The music just seemed to flow," he remarked, insisting that the depth of musicality and original performance on "Indigo" makes it one of their strongest offerings to date.
