JUDAS PRIEST Kicks Off 2026 'Faithkeepers' European Tour At Germany's BOBfest

British heavy metal legends Judas Priest kicked off their 2026 ‘Faithkeepers’ world tour on Saturday night (July 25) at BOBfest, held at Monchengladbach’s SparkassenPark in Germany. The band's 17-song set included two performances of songs which hadn’t been performed live since March 21, 2019: “The Ripper” and “Delivering The Goods”. The ‘Faithkeepers’ European tour follows a 22-city North American co-headlining tour with Alice Cooper last fall.

The band is currently touring in support of their 19th studio album, “Invincible Shield,” which debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album entered the U.K. chart at No. 2, behind Ariana Grande's “Eternal Sunshine”.

Judas Priest delivered a setlist including two songs not performed live since 2019.

Prior to this release, Judas Priest’s highest U.K. chart achievement was with 1980’s “British Steel”, which reached No. 4. The band now has five Top 10 albums in the U.K., including “Redeemer Of Souls” (No. 6) and the 1979 live album “Unleashed In The East” (No. 10).

“Invincible Shield” topped charts in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, and also achieved notable positions in France, Italy and Australia. During the European leg of Judas Priest’s 2025 “Shield Of Pain” tour, the band's setlist included seven tracks from their 1990 album “Painkiller”.

The setlist for the BOBfest show included “The Ripper” and “Delivering The Goods”, marking their first live performances of these songs in over five years.
