Ghost have released the official trailer for 2 Big To Rig, a new feature-length concert film captured during two sold-out shows at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City.

The production was filmed on 16mm across the band’s September 2025 performances in front of a combined audience of nearly 40,000. Unlike the narrative-heavy Rite Here Rite Now, the new film focuses primarily on the live show, with additional behind-the-scenes footage showing the crew responsible for staging the band’s elaborate production.

Shot on 16mm in Mexico City, 2 Big To Rig documents the final chapter of Ghost’s Skeletour era.

2 Big To Rig documents Papa V Perpetua and the Nameless Ghouls during the Skeletour world tour. The set includes material from all six Ghost albums, including songs from 2025’s Skeletá, alongside non-album favourites such as Mary On A Cross, Kiss The Go-Goat and The Future Is A Foreign Land.

The title refers to the practical limits that prevented Ghost from presenting the full Skeletour production in some territories. The film was conceived partly as a way to bring that version of the show to fans who could not see it in person.

Trafalgar Releasing will distribute the film worldwide from August 26 for a limited cinema run, with IMAX screenings available in selected locations.

The movie follows the conclusion of Skeletour in February 2026 after approximately seventy shows across Europe, North America and Mexico. It also serves as the final major document of that touring cycle before the band enters a planned break.
