Testament, Overkill and Destruction Unite for US Tour
Three veteran thrash bands will share the ‘Thrash Of The Titans’ US tour in March and April 2026.
Testament will headline the United States leg of the “Thrash Of The Titans” tour with Overkill and Destruction. The 20-date package begins in Portland on March 14 and concludes at the UC Theatre in Berkeley on April 10.
The route includes Boise, Salt Lake City, Denver, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Worcester, Sayreville, Reading, Atlanta, St Petersburg, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix and Los Angeles. Overkill will not appear at the final Berkeley show.
Testament, Overkill and Destruction bring nearly four decades of shared history to a 20-date American run.
Testament vocalist Chuck Billy said the package reflects a friendship between the three bands that now approaches four decades. Overkill frontman Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth and Destruction bassist and vocalist Schmier similarly presented the tour as a rare opportunity to assemble three enduring thrash institutions on one bill.
Testament will support “Para Bellum”, released through Nuclear Blast in October 2025. The album was recorded with Juan Urteaga and mixed by Jens Bogren. Overkill are preparing to record the follow-up to 2023’s “Scorched” with drummer Jeramie Kling, who joined in 2024. Destruction released their sixteenth album, “Birth Of Malice”, through Napalm Records in March 2025. Together the bands represent distinct American and German branches of the genre, connecting Bay Area precision, New Jersey aggression and the foundational Teutonic thrash sound.
