Plush Set to Unleash 'Animalistic' Ahead of New Album 'Mass Hysteria'
The all-female rock trio PLUSH prepares for a heavy new era with the release of their latest single and upcoming full-length record.
PLUSH are gearing up for a massive sonic shift with the announcement of their new single, "Animalistic", hitting all major streaming platforms on August 14, 2026. Released via Pavement Entertainment, the track serves as the opening salvo for their sophomore full-length album, "Mass Hysteria", which is slated for a global release on September 18, 2026.
Crafted by Moriah Formica, Blair Daly, and Zac Maloy, and produced by Kile O'Dell and Formica, "Animalistic" leans into heavy riffs to explore the concept of internal warfare. The track is designed to confront personal rage as a means of survival amidst turmoil. Formica describes the record as an exploration of the most volatile parts of the self, with "Mass Hysteria" representing the scars left behind after surviving such chaos.
With 'Animalistic', we wanted to capture that raw, untamed survival instinct.
To promote the new material, the trio will embark on a nationwide tour beginning August 13 at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and concluding October 9 in Tracy, California. The tour aims to function as a live listening party for the new record, featuring rare previews of unreleased tracks. Fans can also opt for a VIP Meet-And-Greet which includes an unplugged performance of another track from "Mass Hysteria".
A "Mass Hysteria" bundle is available for pre-order, featuring an exclusive "Animalistic" t-shirt with the choice of a signed CD or vinyl. The band, consisting of Formica, Ashley Suppa, and Faith Powell, continues their mission to bring high-intensity rock back to the forefront of the industry.
