Ministry Face AI Apocalypse in New Single 'Singularity'

MINISTRY are leaning into the zeitgeist of technological dread with their latest single, "Singularity". As anxieties regarding an A.I. apocalypse dominate headlines, Al Jourgensen and his cohort have delivered a dystopian warning for the modern age. The accompanying music video, directed by Ben Garcia in coordination with Jourgensen and Joshua Bradford, visually depicts a robotic takeover with the chilling lyrical threat: "Your time on this planet has passed … we are in control."

"Singularity" serves as the third taste of the band's final album, "Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)", scheduled for release on 30 October via Cleopatra Records. The long-awaited record follows previous singles "Burned Out" and "We Hate". After 45 years as industrial pioneers, Jourgensen has confirmed he is ready to step away from the spotlight, stating, "I'm fucking done. I'm proud of what I've accomplished."
