Pete Webber Shares Drum-Cam of 'Roboticist' Performance
Fear Factory drummer Pete Webber shares a drum-cam from Pennsylvania to showcase the band's latest Nuclear Blast offering.
Fear Factory drummer Pete Webber has shared a drum-cam video of the band performing their latest single, "Roboticist," at Preserving Underground in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. The performance, captured during the Fall 2026 tour, highlights the track released in late August via Nuclear Blast.
"Roboticist" marks the debut release featuring the band's current lineup, which includes Webber and vocalist Milo Silvestro. Both have toured with the industrial metal veterans for over three and a half years. The track was originally penned by guitarist Dino Cazares as an instrumental to showcase the capabilities of a specific plugin.
I still think it's a great track instrumentally, but then when Milo came in and sang on top of it... It needed to be released.
Cazares noted that the track underwent slight arrangements for the final release, moving from a dual-guitar setup to a single eight-string guitar. Despite the presence of Silvestro, Cazares remains unfazed by comparisons between the new frontman and the original vocalist. He maintains that the band's core formula remains intact while incorporating fresh elements. The track was produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Damien Rainaud, and debuted alongside a music video directed by Vincente Cordero.
