Prong Unleash 'The Banner' Ahead of Self-Titled Napalm Records Debut

New York alternative metal stalwarts PRONG have unleashed "The Banner", the lead single from their upcoming self-titled full-length. Set to drop via Napalm Records on November 6, the track serves as a high-octane introduction to what frontman Tommy Victor describes as a "redefining episode" for the band.

Produced with a "blistering and ferocious" mix and master by Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios, "The Banner" showcases the machine-tight riffage and aggressive vocal delivery that have defined the band's career since their late 1980s origins. The track blends elements of industrial, thrash, and New York hardcore to set the stage for the eleven main tracks of the forthcoming LP.

This record represents a new lease on life for PRONG with a new label, a fresh attitude with faster and heavier songs.

Victor has hailed the new record as potentially their best to date, boasting a fresh attitude with heavier songs and bigger hooks. The self-titled album will be available across multiple formats, including limited vinyl variants and a CD edition featuring two bonus tracks: "Out Of Body" and a cover of the Bananarama classic, "Cruel Summer".
