MISS MAY I have unveiled the music video for "Death Threat", a groove-centric anthem set to appear on their upcoming album, "No Place For Me". The visual follows a completely DIY ethos, conceived by vocalist Levi Benton and produced by William Story. Filmed on the band's own properties using whatever gear they could get their hands on, the clip mirrors the raw, unpolished energy of the track.

"Death Threat" serves as a confrontation of harsh realities, exploring the moment personal flaws are weaponised against an individual. Benton explains that the track focuses on breaking free from an emotional chokehold to find clarity. The broader project, scheduled for release on 2 October via Solid State Records, is described by Benton as a cathartic journey of self-discovery that took two years to perfect following the departure of original guitarists B.J. Stead and Justin Aufdemkampe.

The song walks through that worst-case scenario — someone turning your darkness on you — before landing on clarity.

With the addition of Elisha Mullins, the band has embraced a four-piece formation. This shift has pushed them to experiment with experimental soundscapes to fill the void of a missing rhythm guitar. While the band maintains a signature heavy sound, the inclusion of these layered textures is a new evolution for the group. The full tracklist features ten songs, including the atmospheric ballad "Pray For Silence", which serves as a gateway to the more complex sonic textures found deeper into the record.
