Metal Church will release their thirteenth studio album, “Dead To Rights”, on April 10 through Rat Pak Records. The record introduces a new lineup built around founding guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof and longtime guitarist Rick Van Zandt.

Former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, drummer Ken Mary and vocalist Brian Allen complete the group. Vanderhoof says the band had effectively ended before this configuration brought it back to life, and describes the resulting songs as a continuation of the classic Metal Church sound rather than a reinvention.

The album introduces a new lineup featuring Brian Allen, David Ellefson and Ken Mary.

“Dead To Rights” contains ten tracks, opening with “Brainwash Game” and closing with “My Wrath”. The previously released “F.A.F.O.” appears as the second song, alongside “Deep Cover Shakedown”, “Feet To The Fire”, “The Show”, “Heaven Knows (Slip Away)” and “Wasted Time”. Vanderhoof produced the album, while Chris “Zeuss” Harris handled mixing and mastering at Planet Z.

Metal Church will support the record with dates in Mexico, Europe and the United States. The European itinerary includes Copenhagen, Swedish shows with Testament and Armored Saint, Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic, Alcatraz in Belgium, Keep It True and several German dates. The album follows 2023’s “Congregation Of Annihilation”, the sole Metal Church studio record featuring vocalist Marc Lopes, and begins another substantial transition in the band’s four-decade history.
