Manowar have announced the “Kings Of Metal Fighting The World Tour 2027”, a new production built around two of the band’s most commercially and culturally significant albums. The first confirmed concerts will take place in Germany, with further territories to be added.

Shows will use alternating setlists. On selected nights Manowar will perform 1988’s “Kings Of Metal” in full, while others will centre on the complete 1987 album “Fighting The World”. Additional catalogue material will complete each set. The format follows the group’s recent anniversary celebrations for “Hail To England” and “Sign Of The Hammer”.

Each show will centre on one complete classic album alongside additional Manowar anthems and a new production.

The band will also offer a limited number of Ultimate Fan Experience upgrades. An initial presale is reserved for Army Of Immortals members before the wider general sale opens through Eventim.

Manowar continue to work on a re-recorded version of “Sign Of The Hammer”. Bassist Joey DeMaio says the group completed recordings but rejected the results because the sound did not meet its expectations. Studio equipment was subsequently reconfigured and the material recorded again, although touring delayed completion. DeMaio has also confirmed that further original music is planned.

The current group is led by DeMaio and vocalist Eric Adams, the two remaining original members. Manowar have not released a full-length studio album since “The Lord Of Steel” in 2012, though several EPs and standalone songs have appeared during the intervening period.
