IRON Savior Join Frontiers for New Album 'Deathbringer'
German power metal stalwarts IRON SAVIOR announce their signing to Frontiers Music and the arrival of a new studio album in 2026.
German power metal mainstays IRON SAVIOR have signed with Frontiers Music Srl for the release of their upcoming studio album, "Deathbringer", scheduled for November 13, 2026. To mark the signing and the new era, the band has released the lead single, "Back From The Fires Of Hell", accompanied by an official visualiser.
Vocals' Piet Sielck revealed that the title and theme of the new track hold deep personal significance. While the previous album's track "Through The Fires Of Hell" was a piece of poetry dedicated to his wife, "Back From The Fires Of Hell" reflects on actual events following Sielck's cancer diagnosis. He noted that he had originally penned the lyrics before being diagnosed with the illness, transforming the initial poetic intent into a starker reality.
Back From The Fires Of Hell is more of a reflection on actual events.
The announcement marks a major milestone as the band celebrates 30 years in the industry. Produced by Sielck at his own Powerhouse Studio, "Deathbringer" is framed as a punchy successor to their 2023 release "Firestar". The tracklist features anthems like "Climbing Higher", the melodic speed metal journey of "Light In The Dark", and the high-energy title track. To support the new record, IRON SAVIOR will hit the road with MYSTIC PROPHECY.
