Former Primal Fear Members Forge New Path with Fearless V

Former Primal Fear mainstays Tom Naumann, Alex Beyrodt, Alex Jansen, and Michael Ehré have officially launched their new venture, Fearless V. The quartet, having parted ways with Primal Fear in 2024, have recruited Italian vocalist Gianbattista "Jan" Manenti of The Unity to complete their line-up. The band has just unveiled their debut single, "Fearless V", accompanied by a music video featuring a clown mascot designed to represent the dichotomy between appearance and reality.

Their debut full-length, "Circus Life", is scheduled for release on 26 February 2027 via Lucky Bob Records. Drawing from the pedigree of members in projects like Gamma Ray and Voodoo Circle, Fearless V aims for a sound that blends melodic power metal with modern influences. The band's mission is to move forward with a distinct sound rather than simply retracing their steps.

Fearless V demonstrates precisely that intuitive understanding and deep trust that have bound us together for years.

"With Fearless V, we seamlessly tap into the energy that has always driven us," notes guitarist Alex Beyrodt, who describes the project as a statement of the band's vitality. Guitarist Tom Naumann echoes this sentiment, stating that the core of the project is the "100 per cent" chemistry and trust established over years of collaboration.

Following a string of 2026 festival appearances, the band has lined up several dates for 2027. They are set to perform at UOB - Ulmich Om Braand in June, followed by appearances at the RVBANG Festival in July and the Rock Das Ding Open Air Festival in late July.
