DevilDriver Announce ‘Strike And Kill’ Album

DevilDriver will release their eleventh studio album, “Strike And Kill”, on July 10 through Napalm Records. The announcement arrives with opening track “Dig Your Own Grave”, a compact introduction to the record’s aggressive, groove-driven direction.

Frontman Dez Fafara says the album was written without softening the band’s outlook or approach. He describes the record as a deliberate return to DevilDriver’s original intensity, pairing confrontational lyrics with the heavy California groove that has defined the group since its formation. “Dig Your Own Grave” addresses destructive decisions and the damage they can cause both the person making them and those around them.

Lead single ‘Dig Your Own Grave’ launches a 13-track return to DevilDriver’s groove-heavy aggression.

“Strike And Kill” contains 13 songs, including “Dead In The Water”, “Sanctified In Scars”, “Ride Or Die”, “Summoning Shadows” and closing track “All Bets Are Off”. The lineup features Fafara, guitarists Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold, drummer Davier Ortega Perez and returning founding bassist Jon Miller. The album follows the two-part “Dealing With Demons” project.

DevilDriver will support the release with a western United States tour beginning in San Diego on August 14 and ending in Anaheim on September 5. Upon A Burning Body and Ov Sulfur will appear as support. The itinerary also includes Las Vegas, Phoenix, Texas, Chicago, Milwaukee, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Reno, Sacramento and San Jose.
