Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian is calling for fans to dig deeper into the band's discography, specifically highlighting the era featuring vocalist John Bush. Speaking to Rolling Stone Brasil, Ian expressed frustration that three out of the four albums recorded with Bush are largely overlooked by the general public.

"I love them, and I think especially 'Stomp 442' and 'Volume 8: The Threat Is Real' and 'We've Come For You All' are, I think they're very underrated," Ian stated. He noted that while many are aware of the band's core hits, the depth of their catalogue remains under-explored. He encouraged fans to stream these records on platforms like Spotify or Apple Music, noting that they are "missing out on some great albums."

I think it's sad that most people don't know those albums.

While the band's tenure with Bush spanned from 1992 to 2005, Ian provided a specific listening order for newcomers to the era: starting with "We've Come For You All", followed by "Sound Of White Noise", "Volume 8", and finally "Stomp 442". He cited the former as his personal favourite due to the specific feeling it evokes.

Anthrax has cycled through various frontmen including Joey Belladonna, Neil Turbin, and Dan Nelson over the last 42 years. While the Scott Ian and Charlie Benante backbone has remained constant, the revolving door of vocalists has defined different chapters of the band's heavy metal legacy.
