Darby Todd Shares Drum-Cam Footage of Anthrax Performance at Rock Imperium

UK-based session drummer Darby Todd has released drum-cam footage of his performance of "Caught In A Mosh" with Anthrax at the Rock Imperium festival in Cartagena, Spain. The video captures Todd's final appearance behind the kit for the thrash metal veterans during this year's tour.

Todd stepped in to cover for longtime drummer Charlie Benante, who was sidelined by a hand injury throughout much of late June and early July. This follows Todd's previous stint with the band in May at the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens, where he performed as support for Iron Maiden while Benante fulfilled touring commitments with Pantera.

In a statement accompanying the YouTube release, Todd described the Spain show as "one hell of a way to finish an incredible run" and thanked the band's crew. This follows his previous drum-cam share of "Among The Living" from their appearance at Hellfest in June.

While Anthrax prepares for the September 18 release of their tenth studio album, "Cursum Perficio," via Megaforce and Nuclear Blast, Benante remains a cornerstone of the band's identity. Having joined in 1983, Benante is celebrated not only for his technical double-kick style but also as a prolific songwriter and graphic artist.
