Voivod Scrap October U.S. Tour Amid Family Health Crisis

Canadian cosmic metal pioneers VOIVOD have scrapped their upcoming 10-city US tour, which was scheduled to begin on 8 October in Youngstown, Ohio. The cancellation affects the entire run, which was set to feature Richmond, Virginia, metal-punk trio BAT as the supporting act.

The band issued a statement via social media confirming the decision is due to a "family health emergency" within the VOIVOD clan. While the band expressed a desire to postpone the dates, they stated they are currently unable to commit to a new timeframe. Fans holding tickets are being advised to wait a few days for the ticketing systems to process refunds at the point of sale.
