The Pretty Reckless have unleashed their fifth studio album, 'Dear God', and frontwoman Taylor Momsen is opening up about the raw inspiration behind it. In a recent interview with Carr Stereo With Terrie Carr, Momsen detailed the band's approach to songwriting, stressing that genuine emotion trumps any manufactured formula.

Momsen explained her aversion to crafting songs on demand, preferring instead to wait for inspiration to strike – a process she admits can be "torturous". She insists on creating music from a place of personal necessity, describing 'Dear God' as an intensely honest record where "nothing was guised in metaphor."
