KK'S Priest Join W.A.S.P. On High-Octane California Tour
KK's Priest delivered a scorching 12-song set in Los Angeles, bolstered by rare Judas Priest tracks.
KK'S PRIEST hit the stage at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Friday, September 11, serving as the special guest for W.A.S.P. during their 2026 North American tour. The lineup, featuring K.K. Downing and vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens alongside A.J. Mills, Tony Newton, and Sean Elg, delivered a heavy-hitting 12-song set that leaned heavily into the heavy metal canon.
While the band has established a rotation of staples like "Breaking The Law" and "Turbo Lover", the Los Angeles show saw them expand their repertoire with debut performances of "Heading Out To The Highway" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin'"—both Judas Priest numbers that the original band had never performed before. The set also balanced their own discography, featuring tracks from "Sermons Of The Sinner" and 2023's "The Sinner Rides Again".
I would like to play more songs PRIEST has never performed live, Tim added.
Owens has previously acknowledged the ambition to include more rare tracks while navigating the practical constraints of life on the road. While fans often clamour for more of his specific era of Judas Priest material, the band currently balances the set between their own identity and the legendary catalogue. The current tour, dubbed "1984 To Headless", is slated to continue through October 31.
