WAGE WAR Announce 'Landfall' LP and Fall Headline Tour

Florida metalcore mainstays WAGE WAR have confirmed that their latest full-length, 'Landfall', is slated for a digital release on 10 October via Fearless Records. Following the spring release of the "It Calls Me By Name" EP, the quintet has already teased the title track via a new visualizer.

Defined by a blend of bludgeoning riffs and contrasting vocal dynamics, "Landfall" sees the band leaning into a groove-heavy, guitar-forward sound. Lead vocalist Briton Bond provides hellbound screams, while Cody Quistad offers melodic counterpoints. The title track serves as a sonic exploration of impending danger, with the band using hurricane imagery inspired by their Florida roots to mirror the sensation of being at the mercy of a greater force.

"Musically, we wanted the verses to feel heavy and threatening, with the chorus being somber and inevitable," the band stated regarding the title track. The full tracklist features 13 songs, including "Silk", "God Complex" and "Song Of The Swamp".

To support the release, WAGE WAR will hit the road for the "Emergency Broadcast" tour starting 25 October. They will be joined by support acts WE CAME AS ROMANS, VARIALS and CANE HILL, culminating in a home-state show in Orlando on 27 November. The band, who have previously notched a No.1 spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, continue to push the boundaries of the metalcore genre with every evolution.
