Twisted Sister Confirm 2026 Reunion Shows

Twisted Sister have confirmed their first reunion concerts for 2026, marking 50 years since Dee Snider, Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda established the band’s defining core. The limited schedule is focused largely on European festivals rather than a conventional continuous tour.

Confirmed appearances include Sweden Rock, Graspop Metal Meeting, Copenhell, Tons Of Rock, Barcelona Rock Fest, Steelhouse and additional events in Italy, Bulgaria and Switzerland. Snider has suggested the complete worldwide programme may eventually consist of approximately 20 to 25 shows.

Dee Snider, Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda will return with Joe Franco and Russell Pzütto completing the lineup.

Drummer Joe Franco will return in place of the late A.J. Pero, while Russell Pzütto will handle bass. Longtime bassist Mark Mendoza is not participating because of what the group has described as irreconcilable differences. Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, who previously filled in after Pero’s death, is unavailable because of his existing commitments.

Snider initiated the reunion after a health scare led him to reconsider his retirement from full performances. He has acknowledged his previous criticism of bands reversing farewell announcements, but says the decision was driven by a desire to perform one more time while physically capable. The shows will be spaced to reduce the strain associated with conventional touring.

Twisted Sister completed their “40 And Fuck It!” farewell run in 2016. A three-song performance at the Metal Hall Of Fame in 2023 was their only substantial reunion appearance before the new anniversary plans.
