Rose Tattoo Frontman Angry Anderson Hospitalised Following Cardiac Arrest

Rose Tattoo have confirmed that iconic frontman Gary "Angry" Anderson has been hospitalised after suffering a cardiac arrest. The 79-year-old rocker is currently receiving treatment and care in the hospital following the medical emergency.

This development comes shortly after the band was forced to cancel the remainder of their "One Last Ride" summer 2026 European tour. At the point of his admission, nine shows remained on the tour schedule before it was due to conclude in Busdorf, Germany, on 21 August.

The band has requested fans respect the privacy of the 79-year-old singer and his family during his recovery.

In a statement released on Sunday, 30 August, the band expressed gratitude for the "overwhelming messages of support" received over the last 20 days. They have requested that fans respect the privacy of Anderson and his family as they focus on his treatment and recovery.

While the band has a series of farewell shows scheduled across Australia in September—including stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane—it remains unclear whether these remaining dates will go ahead.
