Power Trip and Municipal Waste Lead Metal & Beer Fest
Decibel Metal & Beer Fest returns to Philadelphia in May 2026 with Power Trip and Municipal Waste headlining.
Power Trip and Municipal Waste will headline the 2026 edition of Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest in Philadelphia. The event returns to the Fillmore on May 2 and 3 and will operate as an all-ages festival for the first time.
Municipal Waste will close Saturday with a set centred on material from “The Art Of Partying”. Power Trip headline Sunday in what will be their first Philadelphia performance in seven years. Cryptopsy will mark the 30th anniversary of “None So Vile”, while Cro-Mags will celebrate 40 years of “The Age Of Quarrel”.
The ninth Philadelphia edition combines anniversary sets, reunited bands and an expanded all-ages format.
The music lineup also includes the reunited Kylesa, Necrot, Fulci, Haggus, No/Más and Blood Monolith. The programme combines established crossover thrash, hardcore and death metal with newer grind and underground acts, maintaining the festival’s deliberately specialised identity.
A separate beer component will feature 3 Floyds Brewing, WarPigs, XUL, Magnanimous, New Trail, Nepenthe, Little Cottage, Bear Cult and Brimming Horn Meadery, with additional breweries expected. Metal & Beer ticket holders will receive access to the Foundry, an upstairs tasting area with audio and video feeds from the main room. Those passes are limited to 500 per day. General ticket sales begin December 19 following several promoter and brewery presales.
