Oxnard, California heavyweights NAILS have officially joined forces with Closed Casket Activities, marking the partnership with the immediate release of a two-song single titled "Fear Based Life". The split serves as a brutal statement of intent and a foundational bridge toward the band's fifth full-length album, currently slated for a Summer 2027 release.

The move concludes a professional relationship spanning over a decade. The band noted that while they have worked with various high-quality labels in the past, their long-standing ties with Closed Casket Activities date back to 2011. "All NAILS decisions regarding tour decisions, business decisions, all of the behind the scenes stuff... we conferred with him to help with perspective and insight," the band explained, citing the label as a vital asset for their vision.

There hasn't been a more instrumental asset to NAILS in the past 15 years.

"Fear Based Life" features two new tracks recorded by Andrew Solis and mastered by Nick Townsend. The visual presentation includes cover art by Jef Whitehead (Wrest) and photography captured in Berlin by Duran Levinson. The tracks were penned as a collaborative effort during late 2025.

The single is available for streaming now, with a vinyl pressing scheduled for 9 October. Following the release, NAILS are set to hit the road for a string of dates across the UK and Europe between 2 October and 11 October, featuring support from Rotten Sound, Invunche, and Harrowed.
