In Flames Announce Major European Summer Tour
In Flames will play more than 25 European dates between July and August 2026, ending at Göteborg Brinner.
In Flames have announced an extensive European tour for July and August 2026. The Swedish band will perform more than 25 headline and festival dates before concluding with their own Göteborg Brinner event in Gothenburg on August 22.
The run begins with Polish shows in Gdansk and Wroclaw alongside Bleed From Within. It continues through Masters Of Rock, Area 53, Tolminator, Rockstadt Extreme Fest, Wacken Open Air, Leyendas Del Rock, Vagos Metalfest, Summer Breeze, Reload and Dynamo Metalfest. Club dates will feature rotating support from Bleed From Within, Napalm Death, Unearth, Kittie, Gaerea and Employed To Serve.
The route combines headline shows with Wacken, Summer Breeze, Tuska and a hometown festival curated by In Flames.
Göteborg Brinner will bring In Flames together with Avatar, Dark Tranquillity, Raised Fist, Thrown, Napalm Death, Gaerea and Múr. Frontman Anders Fridén has also suggested that new music could appear before the tour, although no formal release has been announced.
The band continue to support 2023 album “Foregone”, which combined the aggressive melodic-death-metal elements of their early catalogue with the production style of their later records. In Flames parted ways with drummer Tanner Wayne in 2025 and temporarily recruited Jon Rice for live work. The current touring lineup also includes guitarist Chris Broderick and bassist Liam Wilson. The summer route is one of the band’s broadest European campaigns in recent years and covers both major festivals and smaller regional rooms.
