French multi-instrumentalist Gautier Serre has confirmed a headline European tour for March and early April 2027. The tour serves as a live showcase for the upcoming full-length "Amen", which is slated for release on Metal Blade Records in the autumn of 2025. The tour will see Serre, performing under the IGORRR moniker, share the stage with Secret Chiefs 3 and Fange across a sprawling itinerary stretching from France to the Netherlands.

Since the project joined the Metal Blade stable in 2017, the moniker has evolved into a full group identity, though Serre remains the mastermind behind the chaotic fusion of influences. The upcoming album "Amen" marks a shift toward a darker, more solemn atmosphere. Serre notes that the inclusion of a real choir recorded in a church contributed significantly to the record's distinct sound design, even if the odd inclusion of tracks like "Blastbeat Falafel" provides a much-needed "shot of limoncello" amidst the ambient heaviness.

It has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in IGORRR.

The 2027 trek includes dates in cities such as Aix-en-Provence, Belgrade, and Leipzig. The project continues to defy classification, blending the musical DNA of figures ranging from Bach and Chopin to modern heavyweights like Cannibal Corpse and Meshuggah. For fans of the "Spirituality And Distortion" era, the upcoming tour provides a long lead-in to witness Serre's evolving experimental methods in the flesh.
