Haken Release ‘Bleeding Sky’ and Announce European Tour

Haken have released a new single titled “Bleeding Sky” and confirmed a European headline tour for September and October 2026. The song follows May’s “In A Fever Dream”, which marked the British progressive metal band’s first new music in three years.

“Bleeding Sky” was co-produced and mixed by George Lever, whose previous credits include Loathe and Sleep Token. Former Periphery bassist Adam “Nolly” Getgood performs bass on the track, while Oliver Kember created its accompanying visualiser. Haken describe the new material as among the most emotionally direct work of their career so far.

The track continues Haken’s new chapter while their rebuilt lineup prepares to return to European stages.

The European tour begins at Salamandra in Barcelona on September 23 and continues through Switzerland, France, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Poland, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The itinerary includes an appearance at Euroblast Festival in Cologne and concludes at Vega in Copenhagen on October 15. Haken say they have assembled a completely new stage production for the run.

The band currently consists of vocalist Ross Jennings, guitarist Richard Henshall, keyboardist Pete Jones and drummer Ray Hearne. Guitarist Charlie Griffiths and bassist Conner Green left earlier in 2026 after long tenures with the group. Haken’s most recent studio album remains 2023’s “Fauna”, while the 2024 London performance documented on “Liveforms: An Evening With Haken” captured the band playing that record in full.
