Erik Grönwall Debuts 'Twisted Lullaby' Music Video
Former SKID ROW frontman Erik Grönwall unveils a new visual for his solo track "Twisted Lullaby" from the album "Bad Bones".
Former SKID ROW vocalist Erik Grönwall has premiered the official music video for "Twisted Lullaby", a standout track from his solo LP, "Bad Bones". Directed by Jakob Jakobsson, the visual accompanies the track which Grönwall describes as an exploration of the mental gymnastics of insomnia. "'Twisted Lullaby' is about those nights when you just can't shut off your brain," he explains, detailing the overwhelming rush of past memories and future anxieties that surface when one is exhausted.
Since fronting high-profile acts like H.E.A.T and touring with Michael Schenker, Grönwall has now pivoted towards a more inward-looking project. "Bad Bones", released in May, is his first fully original solo work. He describes the record as his most honest and uncompromising output to date, shaped by years of industry highs and lows. While his previous efforts were perhaps shaped by external influences, he insists this project is pure, unfiltered rock and roll.
This album is 100 percent me — the good, the bad, all of it.
Produced alongside former H.E.A.T bandmate Jona Tee, the album has already garnered international support from stations including Planet Rock in the UK and Star FM in Germany. The momentum continues to build on the ground, with Grönwall's upcoming shows at Cirkus in Stockholm selling out months in advance. For Grönwall, the project marks a definitive move into a new era of creative freedom and personal identity.
