Blind Illusion to Release Live Record Featuring Original Vocalist David White

Progressive thrash metal stalwarts Blind Illusion are set to drop a new live album, "Stage Flight: Live At The UC Theatre", on 16 October 2026 via Hectic Records/Bleeding Priest Records. The recording captures a momentous 2025 performance at the UC Theatre in Berkeley, California, which saw the band reunite with original vocalist David White for a special celebration marking Exodus's 40th anniversary of "Bonded By Blood".

For those who worship at the altar of Coroner, Watchtower and Exodus, this release highlights the band's intricate approach to the genre. The current roster—featuring Mark Biedermann on lead guitar and vocals, Phil Cosentini on drums, Avery Thurman on bass, and Martin Lacour on lead guitar—showcases a sound that has evolved since their 1978 inception. The performance serves as a bridge between their pioneering past and their ongoing evolution.
