Blaze Bayley Confirms Work on New Material Following 'Circle Of Stone'

Blaze Bayley is currently in the process of gathering inspiration for his next solo album, following the release of 'Circle of Stone' in February 2024. In a recent interview with Greece's Altars of Metal, the former Iron Maiden vocalist explained that he chose to slow the pace down after a productive few years to ensure the new material feels right.

Bayley noted that while he hasn't accumulated a vast amount of material yet, the snippets he possesses provide enough confidence to produce a high-quality record. He admitted he is aiming for a "life-changing beast" but, for now, is content with the goal of delivering a solid release. The artist remains focused on the creative process, stating he doesn't want to prematurely define the path ahead until the work begins to shape itself.

A major focus for the upcoming record involves the vinyl format. Bayley expressed a preference for the physical medium, specifically aiming for a structured layout where song three provides a transition into the heart of the record and song five acts as a bold statement of intent for the second side.

This creative period comes ahead of his induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame's Class of 2026. The ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on November 14, where Bayley will be honoured alongside the current and former members of Iron Maiden.
