Babymetal Announce North American Tour With Halestorm
Babymetal will tour North America with Halestorm and Violent Vira while preparing a deluxe edition of ‘Metal Forth’.
Babymetal have announced a North American tour for late summer and autumn 2026 with Halestorm and Violent Vira. The run begins in San Diego on August 30 and continues through major amphitheatres and arenas before concluding at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on October 3.
The itinerary includes Denver, Chicago, Toronto, the New York and Boston areas, Washington, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, Detroit, St Louis, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Albuquerque and Phoenix. Babymetal will also appear at Louder Than Life in Louisville, while the opening San Diego date supports My Chemical Romance.
The arena and amphitheatre run follows Babymetal’s historic first US Top 10 album.
The announcement coincides with plans for a deluxe edition of “Metal Forth”, due June 26 through Capitol Records. The expanded release adds three live performances and two remixes of “From Me To U”, one by Major Lazer and another by former Bring Me The Horizon musician Jordan Fish. A vinyl edition will use a zoetrope design based on icons from the album.
“Metal Forth” debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200, making Babymetal the first all-Japanese-fronted group to enter the chart’s Top 10. The album has generated more than 200 million streams and sold 36,000 equivalent units in its opening week. Babymetal’s current core lineup consists of Su-Metal, Moametal and Momometal.
