Alter Bridge Drop Video for 'Tested and Able'
Alter Bridge have released a new music video for 'Tested and Able' ahead of their final US tour dates of the year.
Alter Bridge have premiered the official music video for "Tested and Able", a standout track from their self-titled eighth studio album. The visual accompaniment captures the heavy hitters' commanding live presence, showcasing the energy and intensity that Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips have cultivated across more than two decades of global touring.
The release arrives just in time for the final US leg of the "What Lies Within" tour. Supported by Big Wreck and Tim Montana, the tour strikes cities including Philadelphia, Cleveland, San Antonio, Anaheim, and Denver, before a grand finale in Reno on 5 December. Fans can expect a setlist that blends the band's extensive catalogue with fresh material from their latest release.
The band has built a legacy defined by intellectual songwriting and world-class musicianship.
Since forming in Florida in 2004, the quartet has established themselves as a powerhouse of modern hard rock. Their debut, "One Day Remains", secured a top-five spot on the Billboard 200 and earned a gold certification, sparking a streak of six consecutive top-20 debuts. The band has garnered critical acclaim for technical proficiency, with "Blackbird" notably cited by Guitarist magazine as the "Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time".
Mark Tremonti noted that the decision to go with a self-titled eighth album was born from the depth of their existing work. Kennedy echoed this sentiment, noting that while the band has evolved significantly over twenty years, they remain committed to the work of constant creation and avoiding complacency in an ever-changing musical landscape.
