Alissa White-Gluz's Blue Medusa Drops 'Crocodile' Single and Video

Alissa White-Gluz has delivered the third single and accompanying music video for her new project, Blue Medusa. Titled "Crocodile", the track is described by White-Gluz as an exploration of "instinctive dread" and the tension of being watched by a hidden danger. "'Crocodile.' is about that feeling that you're being watched... that instinctive dread when you know something dangerous is nearby, even though you can't see it," she explains, noting that the song lives in the space between what is perceived and what is sensed.

The visual component of the release marks a continued collaboration with Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films. The music video features the first full-band performance from Blue Medusa, with White-Gluz wielding a custom Nik Huber Guitar. This unique instrument, featuring Von Frankenstein Monster Gear components and autographed by both White-Gluz and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, will be auctioned to benefit Sea Shepherd's marine-life conservation efforts. The track also features vocals and visuals from Beatriz Mariano of Okkultist.

It's the feeling that something is lurking just beneath the surface of what appears to be safe or familiar.

This release follows a prolific year for White-Gluz, who has appeared with acts including Dragonforce, Ice Nine Kills, and Sepultura. She is set to front Dragonforce again for the "Inhumane Rampage" anniversary tour in North America this fall, while 2027 festival dates are already beginning to take shape for her and Blue Medusa.
